Paal Espen Johnsen - Chairman
Paal Johnsen has worked as an Investment Director at Akastor since 2015, and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board at AGR and AKOFS. His previous experience is from investment banking and family office.
Mr Johnsen holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics.
Ståle Kyllingstad
Ståle Kyllingstad is the founder and CEO of the industrial conglomerate, IKM, which has grown to have almost 2600 employees across 13 countries. He has worked at IKM during his entire career, and developed companies and verticals within subsea, engineering & operations, inspection, and testing.
Mr Kyllingstad has studied petroleum engineering at the University of Stavanger.
Karl Erik Kjelstad
Karl Erik Kjelstad is the CEO of Oslo-listed Akastor ASA. He has been part of the Aker group since 1998, where he held several key positions, including multiple CEO roles. Mr Kjelstad has also held several board positions across industries, including energy, logistics, and construction.
Mr Kjelstad holds an MSc in Marine Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and an AMP from Harvard Business School.
Øystein Stjern
Øystein Stjern is part of the corporate management team at IKM, where he currently holds a position as executive vice president. He has worked with energy over the past decade, while also serving as a politician. Currently, he also holds the position as the deputy mayor in Randaberg municipality.
Mr Stjern holds a BSc in Mechatronics from the University of Agder and an Executive Master’s of Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
